Santa Barbara...One of our very favorite places!

We went to Santa Barbara last weekend to celebrate this lady's 60th birthday! We've known Bob and Amy for many years through our UCSB basketball connections! We attended her birthday luncheon at their church and then headed to the UCSB Women's basketball game where Aaron pulled her on to the court and danced with her while the entire audience sang "Happy Birthday"!
Happy Birthday Amy...Glad we could be a part of your day! Thank you Bob for inviting us and treating!

After the game we went out to dinner with Ashleigh and Ryan...students at UCSB and former RCHS students. Ashleigh was our babysitter for 5 years before she transferred to UCSB. I did not take pictures...so sad:(

Then we went back to our hotel for night swimming!

The next morning we walked around our hotel pond watching the ducks, fish and birds.

Then we headed to a few little known Goleta and Santa Barbara parks!

Lunch at Longboards on the wharf...fish n' chips, chowder in a loaf, and peanuts that you crack and throw the shells on the floor! Yum yum!

What a fun trip!

Playhouse Disney LIVE!

The "Southern California" Bishops all went to go see Playhouse Disney LIVE at the Ontario Arena! There were 21 of us and we had a fun time! Macie's favorite Little Einsteins were there along with Handy Manny, Tigger, Pooh and lots of other Disney characters! Thank you OTBC for the tickets and snacks:)

Abbie's Birthday Party!

Abbie had her birthday party at the new Glowgolf place in Ontario Mills Mall! This was our first time having a party at a "place". The kids had a fun time playing glow in the dark miniature golf after school yesterday!

The highlight of the party was when Rigdon decided to break down some sweet moves to the Camp Rock soundtrack! All the girls were chanting, "Go Rigdon...Go Rigdon" over and over again! It was awesome!

Abbie's 8th Birthday

Abbie had a great birthday! She ate yummy french toast and strawberry milk. She brought doughnut holes and chocolate milk to her class...Aaron drove to Upland Donuts to get them because they are the best! We went to Aaron's basketball game and to The Pizza Factory for dinner. Her gift from us was a beach cruiser!
