Friends and Family at the Lake

When my parents moved to Lake Almanor, a few of their friends (Daltons, Maraldos)had already retired there! Then my Uncle Carey and Aunt Arletta bought a lot and a house...then the Padias built a house...It really is such a special place!

The picture above is my favorite! Under one roof we had Rick and Jill, Chuck and Sandy, their daughter Tiffany with her 3 girls, my parents, our kids,a nd me...Aaron took the picture!

These 3 men pictured here taught and coached together for 35 years in San Jose! They were friends before they had kids! They are like family to me! It's so great that they could retire in such a neat place, play golf, travel, play golf, eat at each other's houses, play golf, have lots of other friends too, and play golf!

The Padia family came up the day before we were leaving...hung out one day at the beach...no pictures:( Wish we could have stayed longer! 2 weeks is not enough!
